Scope and Enforcement:
These terms and conditions for tour reservations become effective upon presenting the tour program and services through our website. Eco Voyage Laos Sole Co., Ltd (referred to as “Eco Voyage Laos” or “we”) acts as the tour provider, while you, the tour subscriber, are referred to as “customers” or “you.”
Tour Reservation Conditions:
Reserving a tour through Eco Voyage Laos’s website indicates an intention to travel but is not a confirmed booking until Eco Voyage Laos staff contact you to confirm and process deposit and the rest must be paid 1-2 days before departure at the Eco Voyage Laos office, where you will receive a reservation confirmation and receipt.
Tour Program Presentation:
- Tour descriptions and images on the website may differ from actual visits due to changes in attractions, nature, culture, or seasons.
- Tour prices may change due to government regulations or economic instability. The final price is confirmed by Eco Voyage Laos staff, and customers must adhere to the price stated in the confirmation document.
Booking Tours:
You can book tours via phone, WhatsApp, email, or other methods by providing the tour name and code. For custom tours, Eco Voyage Laos will provide detailed information and send a confirmation form outlining the tour program, group size, price, and other details.
Deposit and Payment:
- A 50% deposit is required within 1-2 days of booking. The balance must be paid 1-2 days before departure via Eco Voyage Laos’s online payment system or in person at the Eco Voyage Laos office.
- Payments by credit card incur a 3% fee, PayPal payments a 3.5% fee, and bank transfers include the bank’s transfer fee. Payment details are provided by Eco Voyage Laos staff.
Tour Confirmation:
Customers or group leaders must reconfirm reservations with Eco Voyage Laos staff, who will provide a brief tour overview and preparation advice. If unable to meet in person, confirmation can be done via phone, email, or WhatsApp a day before departure.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancel up to 72 hours before departure for a full refund minus a 7% operating fee. Cancelling within 24 hours incurs a 3.5% transaction fee.
- For sickness cancellations within 12 hours, a doctor’s note is required; the 3.5% transaction fee applies.
- If Eco Voyage Laos cancels the tour, a full refund is provided with no fees.
- Cancellations must be notified by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Traveling with Children:
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 years are free, ages 6-9 are 50% of the tour price, and ages 10 and above are full price.
- Adventure tours may be challenging for children. For activities like hiking, camping, or kayaking, consider hiring a village guide or assistant.
Tourism Services:
- In case of medical emergencies, tour guides may alter routes for safety.
- Adventure tours involve inherent risks. Eco Voyage Laos will assist in emergencies, but medical costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- If dissatisfied with any service, inform the tour guide immediately. If unresolved, submit feedback via email promptly.
