Itinerary (Approx. 4-5 hours)
Depart from our office by Tuk Tuk, heading north via Luang Namtha, a journey of about 20 minutes. The trail leads you through the mountains of Nam Ha NPA, ascending and descending through old-growth, primary bamboo, and wild banana forests to reach a hidden waterfall. From the mountain summit, enjoy panoramic views of Nam Ha NPA. Your experienced guide will help you spot and call various bird species. You’ll also learn to mimic bird calls, barking deer, and squirrel sounds.
A picnic lunch will be served near the waterfall. After lunch, continue trekking through pristine forests to Ban Nam Daet Mai (an Akha village), where you’ll explore the villagers’ daily lives, traditions, and culture. The trek concludes at Ban Nam Mai (a Yao or Mien village), where a Tuk Tuk will pick you up for the return to Muang Sing town.
